This is truly a superb villa located in the hills above Mandelieu/ Cannes with astonishing panoramic views from the Alps to the Mediterranean. Cannes with its abundant night life, shops and beaches can be reached by car in about 15 minutes the airport of Nice in about 35 minutes. Yet relaxing on the pool terrace the first thing you notice is the absolute calm and tranquility surrounding the villa.
 

Let me walk you through this remarkable villa. We enter via a hallway giving way to a large living-room. The entire villa is tastefully decorated and well equipped including a television, CD and DVD with various international channels including BBC.
 

On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms one with a large king size bed and one with bunk beds.
 

Next to the living room we find the fully equipped kitchen – a kitchen that would make Jamie Oliver's mouth water. Here you can enjoy a meal with a fantastic view over the Mediterranean and the Alps. The kitchen has large French windows which can be opened to invite the cool breezes of a warm summer evening on the Cote d'Azur.
 

A staircase leads up to the master bed room with en-suite bathroom, a king size bed and large French windows opening up to a sun terrace, where you once again can enjoy the magnificent view.
 

Taking the stairs down from the living room brings us to a large apartment with an American kitchen a large living with a television set and two double bedrooms, a shower room and a bathroom and a laundry room. All have direct access to the pool and garden.
 

The Mediterranean garden filled with palm, olive and fruit trees also has large grassy and shaded areas for children to play. It is fair to say that this villa is not suited for small children, (younger than 5 years of age) because of the terrain and many stairs in and outside the villa.
The curved overflow pool can be heated (at extra cost).
 

Extra: Caretakers cottage with caretaker living on the premises.
